The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is a government institution responsible for administering national examinations in Tanzania. Established by the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973, NECTA oversees the development, regulation, and administration of examinations for primary, secondary, and post-secondary education to ensure quality and standardization in the country’s education system.

Release of Exam Results – This service is offered to candidates whose examination results are withheld due to late payment of Examination fee.

SERVICE REQUIREMENTS FOR RELEASE OF EXAMINATION RESULTS

NECTA offers an online application service for candidates who sat for the National Examinations but their results were withheld due to late payment of Examination fee.

(a) Payment

Releasing Examinations results withheld due to non-payment of examination fee is Tsh. 100,000/= for (CSEE, ACSEE and Teaching and Tsh. 20,000/= for FTNA.

Payment should be done by using a control number through NMB, CRDB and NBC banks or by using financial networks T-Pesa (TTCL), M-Pesa (Vodacom), Tigo Pesa (Tigo), Ezy Pesa (Zantel) and Airtel Money (Airtel).
